Working on packaging to be made in Portugal for new COLLECTED trivet in stainless steel
I’m excited to share that I’m working on a stainless steel edition of the COLLECTED trivet—crafted with care in Portugal. This decision is rooted in my belief that timeless design and responsible production go hand in hand.
Portugal is already home to the production of some of my other products, and by expanding this collaboration, I reduce unnecessary transport and streamline my processes. This also allows me to use the same packaging producer, ensuring a cohesive aesthetic across my product line while minimizing the environmental impact of developing new packaging solutions.
Producing, assembling, and packaging everything locally makes it possible to scale the business in a responsible way. Crafting each product individually may feel romantic, but it’s resource-heavy and inefficient in the long run. By optimizing production without compromising on quality, I can continue to create thoughtful, long-lasting designs that serve generations to come.
Sustainability isn’t just about materials—it’s about making smart, efficient decisions throughout the production process. And with this new stainless steel edition of the COLLECTED trivet, I’m proud to take another step in that direction.
