Reduction of parts or reduction of handlings

As an independent product developer, I’m always looking for ways to create timeless designs with minimal environmental impact. The new 3-armed LUCID tea light warmer, or Stövchen, is crafted from solid brass and represents a step forward in both durability and simplicity.

While this edition actually consists of more parts than the previous 4-armed version, each component is designed to last a lifetime. The old design required felt gliders to ensure stability - a material that naturally wears out over time. This didn’t align with my vision of creating products that can be passed down through generations.

In the new edition, precision engineering ensures that the warmer stands perfectly on any surface without the need for gliders. The result is a more streamlined, durable, and environmentally conscious production that balances craftsmanship with long-term sustainability.
